Concepts of Physics and Chemistry and principles of Mathematics constitute foundation for all engineering and technological developments. Scientists have to take a lead role in creation of knowledge on which industrial growth and development can sustain for generations to come. At present very few universities are offering a undergraduate programs in physical sciences which impart knowledge and exposure up to standard required for a future scientist. JUET Guna, with its highly learned faculty, well equipped infrastructure and student centric learning and teaching is committed to create the scientists/researchers and academicians of tomorrow. To fulfill this goal following programs are being offered w.e.f. July 2011-12:

The undergraduate program of study is intended to teach students the concepts of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, to think critically and creatively, to conceptualize and solve problems, to analyze, reason and arrive at evidence-based conclusions, and to express themselves clearly and convincingly both in speech and in writing.
To achieve a balance of scope and depth of study, the UG programs will be characterized by the study of fundamental courses of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to build a solid foundation in sciences, particularly in the earlier semesters, to promote a general understanding of these areas. This would be followed in later semesters by more intensive courses related to various academic disciplines in fulfillment of the requirements for majoring in an academic discipline or a combination of disciplines of study. In addition, the program of study will encompass a combination of courses designed to promote the acquisition of certain skills that students can bring to bear in a variety of learning and career/ professional situations.
