1. POST METRIC SCHOLARSHIPS FOR SC/ST AND OBC STUDENTS OF MP

PROCEDURE,  TERMS & CONDITIONS 

Eligible students are required to apply for scholarship through online procedure on Govt. website thereafter submit a printout to the University Office with all supporting documents within stipulated time.

CRITERIA FOR SC/ST STUDENTS

  1. Parents income up to Rs. 200000/- (Rs. Two Lac) from all sources).

          Total scholarship + tuition fee may be granted.

  1. Parents income from Rs. 200000/- to Rs 300000/-

          Only half tuition fee & scholarship shall be granted.

CRITERIA FOR OBC STUDENTS

  1. Parents income up to Rs. 75000/- (Rs. Seventy five thousand)

          Total scholarship + tuition fee may be granted.

  1. Parents income above Rs. 75000/-

          No Provision for scholarship and tuition fee.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

  1. Income Certificate issued by Tehsildar/SDM in original and photocopy.
  2. Cast Certificate issued by SDM attested photocopy.
  3. Domicile Certificate issued by SDM attested photocopy.
  4. Last two-year exam mark sheets attested copies.
  5. Fee receipt photocopy.
  6. Affidavit duly notarized on Rs. 10 non judicial stamp paper by parents in regard to declaration of income (Only for OBC candidates)
  7. Transfer Certificate from the fresh applicants
Amount – Government approved Fee & Scholarship for the Govt. Engineering / Polytechnic colleges are sanctioned by the Govt of MP for the students of Jaypee University of Engineering & Technology, Guna (JUET).

2. SCHOLARSHIP FOR MINORITY CATEGORY STUDENTS

Scheme of Merit cum means based scholarship for students belonging to minority communities

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  1. Students, who have got admission in a recognized college to pursue technical/professional courses, on the basis of a competitive examination.
  2. Students, who have got admission in a recognized college to pursue technical/professional courses, without facing any competitive examination, will also be eligible for scholarship.  However, such students should have not less than 50% marks at higher secondary/graduation level. Selection of these students will be done strictly of merit.
  3. A scholarship holder under this scheme will not avail any other scholarship/stipend for pursuing the course.
  4. The annual family income of the beneficiary/parent or guardian of the beneficiary should not exceed Rs.2.50 lakh per annum from all sources.
  5. A student residing in a particular State/UT will be entitled for scholarship under the quota of that State/UT only irrespective of his place of study.

HOW TO APPLY

Applications in the prescribed format may be submitted to the Secretary of the, deptt. of the concerned State Govt/UT administration, dealing with minority welfare, through the institutions where the students are pursuing technical/professional courses.  The student must submit their applications to the state which he/she belongs to and not to the state where the institution where he/she is studying, is located.

3. WILLIAM WEBSTER MERIT-CUM-MEANS SCHOLARSHIP

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR AWARD OF SCHOLARSHIP (FRESH CASES)

Combined income of parents / guardian should be less than or equal to Rs.1.5 lacs per annum.

Merit is determined on the basis of following weightages of marks obtained in class 10th, 12th and performance in B. Tech. IST semester.

Class 10th           :           15%
Class 12th           :           35%
B.Tech Ist SEM    :           50%

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR SCHOLARSHIP (CONTINUATION CASES)

(1) A student shall continue to get the scholarship in the subsequent years provided he/she fulfils the following criteria.
(2) Minimum CGPA of 7.0 on 10 point scale.
(3) Combined income of parents / guardian should be less than or equal to Rs.1.5 lacs per annum

 4. SCHOLARSHIP FOR OTHER STATE STUDENTS

Other states are also providing scholarship to their students who are studying in JUET, Guna. Some of the students of Jaypee University of Engineering & Technology, Guna (JUET) belonging to UP, Bihar, Jharkhand etc. have been getting scholarship from the parent state.
