Brief Profile:
Dr. Abhishek Verma is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering. He completed his PhD from Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology in 2022. His main research focus was "A Study on the Influence of Pre-Treated Recycled Aggregate and Modified Two-Stage Mixing Approaches on the Performance of Standard Grade Concrete." He earned his B.E. in Civil Engineering from Shri Govindram Sekseria Institute of Technology & Science (SGSITS), Indore (M.P.), in 2009, and his M.Tech from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal (M.P.), in 2013. His master's research was on "Analytical study of various structural engineering softwares and comparative study with the conventional approach." He joined Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology, Guna, as an Assistant Professor (Grade-I) in the Department of Civil Engineering in January 2015. Additionally, he has approximately 3.5 years of work experience in various organizations, including ESSAR GROUP as a Graduate Engineer Trainee (Gujarat), Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research (Indore), and Narsee Monji Institute of Management Studies (Mumbai) as an Assistant Professor. His areas of interest include recent advancements in concrete technology, earthquake-resistant steel and RCC structures, computer-aided analysis and design of underground and overhead water tanks, and advanced analysis methods such as pushover analysis and P-Delta analysis of structures.
