Essential Qualification & Experience as per UGC guidelines
Post Graduate with atleast 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade with minimum 15 years experience as Assistant Professor or 8 years service as Associate Professor in an Educational administration or comparable experience in research establishment or other institutions of higher education or 15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or equivalent in any Institution/ Defence Training establishment.
Desirable Experience
Experience of Security management, Hostels and their Messes, Maintenance and upkeep of Campus, Communications and meetings with State Govt. & Central Govt. bodies connected with University operations, Human Resource management, Establishment and Legal matters, All experiences at University or similar establishment levels including Armed Forces.

Registrar shall discharge all other functions as assigned to him by the Chancellor/ Vice-Chancellor and as given in Ordinances, Statues, Rules and Regulations related to university.
