Dr. Amit Kumar Srivastava obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology, Guna. He earned his Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Information Security from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), Allahabad (Prayagraj), Uttar Pradesh.
Dr. Srivastava has been serving as a faculty member at Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology, India, since 2012. With over nine years of academic experience, he has taught a diverse range of subjects, including Artificial Intelligence, Component-Based Software Engineering, Swarm Intelligence, Operating Systems, Database Management Systems, Soft Computing, and Computational Intelligence.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Srivastava has successfully guided three M.Tech research scholars in the domains of Software Engineering and Computational Intelligence. He is currently supervising one Ph.D. scholar working on the automation of self-driving cars, with a focus on Computer Vision.
He has published over 150 design applications and holds three utility patents in the domains of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.
Dr. Srivastava has also completed a certification course in Intellectual Property Rights from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Geneva. He has published several research papers in national and international journals and conferences. Furthermore, he is an active member of technical program committees for various reputed journals and Scopus-indexed conferences.
His primary research interests include Model-Based Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision.
In addition to his academic and research activities, Dr. Srivastava is actively involved in outreach and capacity-building initiatives. He regularly conducts training workshops on topics such as Python Programming, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Database Systems.
He is currently handling a consultancy project in the power sector, focusing on the implementation of Early Warning Systems and Automatic Weather Stations. Additionally, he provides development support in the area of industrial automation, particularly using Siemens products.
