Brief Profile:
Dr. Bhagat Singh obtained his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra. He completed Master of Engineering in Machine Design and Vibration Analysis from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela. He was awarded Ph.D. degree in the area of “Study of damping in layered and welded beams” by National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela. His area of interest includes Machine Design and Vibration Analysis, Condition Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis of Machine Structures (Gears, Bearings, Beams, IC Engines, Pump, Refrigeration and Air Conditioner Units, Compressor, Turbines), Tool Vibration Analysis in Turning, Milling, Drilling, Grinding and Boring, Optimization, AI and Machine Learning, Data Analytics. He has about 26 years teaching and research experience. He has published research articles in reputed SCI and SCOPUS indexed Journals. He also authored some book chapters with Springer publishers and one book titled “Artificial Intelligence approach in CNC machining”.
