Dr. Gaurav Saxena

Dr. Gaurav Saxena is currently serving as an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Jaypee University of Engineering & Technology (JUET), Guna, Madhya Pradesh, India. He joined JUET in 2008 and transitioned to the Computer Science department in 2017. With over 20 years of academic experience, Dr. Saxena has made significant contributions to both teaching and research. He holds a Ph.D. in Digital Image Processing using Deep Learning from MP-State Technological University (RGPV), Bhopal. He earned his Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Electronics & Communication from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Electronics Engineering from RGPV, Bhopal. Dr. Saxena has supervised multiple postgraduate and undergraduate thesis in Computer Science and Electronics Engineering. Currently, he is supervising 2 Ph.D. scholars. His recent teaching portfolio includes courses such as Computer Networks & Security, Data Structure & Algorithm, Software Development Fundamentals, Information Security and Computer Organization & Architecture. He has published over 25+ research papers in reputed SCI / Scopus/ UGC-indexed journals and conferences in areas including VLSI Design, Signal Processing, and Communication.  He is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (SMIEEE), a Fellow of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (FMIETE), and a member of several professional bodies, including LM-IAENG and LM-IACSIT (Singapore). He is also an active reviewer and editorial board member for various national and international journals and conferences. His recent consultancy projects involve aerodynamic analysis and smart technology applications for the power sector.
