Dr. Kamini Bhasin

Dr. Kamini Bhasin is an experienced academician, researcher, and academic leader with over eighteen years of expertise in higher education. She currently serves as Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at Jaypee University of Engineering & Technology, Guna. Her professional journey reflects a dynamic blend of teaching, research, administration, and leadership in the fields of English, communication, and management studies.

Over the years, Dr. Bhasin has taught a diverse range of subjects including English and Communication Skills, Business Communication, Personality Development, Organizational Behaviour, Life Skills, and Digital Marketing. Her teaching style emphasizes student engagement, practical application, and holistic development. She is deeply committed to equipping learners with the communication and interpersonal skills required to excel in today’s global environment.

A prolific researcher, Dr. Bhasin has published widely in Scopus-indexed journals and presented her work at national and international conferences. Her scholarly contributions include research on communication studies, Amitav Ghosh’s novels, employer branding, employee engagement, and social media marketing. She has also authored academic books and contributed chapters to edited volumes. Alongside her publications, she has actively participated in and organized workshops, faculty development programs, and seminars, ensuring continuous learning for both faculty and students.

In addition to her academic contributions, Dr. Bhasin plays significant leadership and administrative roles at JUET. She serves as Ph.D. Coordinator, University Nodal Officer for Social Media, and Vice President of the Alumni Association. She has also been a TEDx Coordinator, member of the University Admission Committee, and editor of institutional publications including the university magazine Vartika, the JUET Chronicle, and the Research Journal. Her active involvement in these initiatives reflects her dedication to institutional growth and community engagement.

Her leadership extends beyond administrative duties, as she has mentored Ph.D. scholars and supervised research in communication, literature, and human resource management. She has also trained faculty through development programs and served as a subject expert for recruitment processes. Dr. Bhasin’s ability to combine teaching, mentoring, and administration demonstrates her holistic approach to academia.

Dr. Bhasin believes in conscious and student-centered teaching, focusing on motivation, constructive feedback, and practical exposure. She actively uses tools like the digital language lab to enhance students’ communication proficiency and prepares them for professional challenges. Her vision lies in developing competent, confident, and socially responsible individuals who can contribute effectively to both industry and society.

Through her academic journey, she has earned a reputation as a dedicated teacher, an insightful researcher, and an effective leader. Balancing traditional literary scholarship with modern skills training, she continues to inspire students and colleagues alike, leaving a lasting impact on the academic community.
