Dr. Vaibhav Bisht

Dr. Vaibhav Bisht completed his Ph.D. in Mathematics in 2024 from the Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science at G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, India. He earned his B.Sc. degree from Kumaun University, Nainital, India, in 2018, and his M.Sc. degree, with major in Mathematics and minor in Computer Science, from G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, India, in 2020. Following his doctoral studies, he joined the Department of Mathematics, Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology, Guna as an Assistant Professor (G-I).  Dr. Bisht's research is centered on Reliability Theory, Stochastic Processes, and Dynamic Reliability Analysis, focusing on system performance analysis and failure over time. Dr. Bisht has published several research articles in top tier international and national journals. 

Awards and Honours: Young Scientist Award by Govt. of Uttarakhand.

 

Invited Talk at International Conference:

  ·      Presented a Paper entitled “A study on Dynamic Reliability measures of Multi-state k-out-of-n systems” in 35th Panhellenic and 1st International Statistics Conference held at Athens, Greece during May 25-28, 2023.

·        Presented a Paper entitled “Conventional lathe machine and its Dynamic Reliability Measures” in Science Conference "VojnNa 2025" held at Belgrade, Serbia during Sep 11-12, 2025.

 

Scholarship & Fellowships:

·         Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) & Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) by DST-INSPIRE, Govt. of India during Doctoral Studies.

·     DST- INSPIRE Scholarship For Higher Education (SHE) during B.Sc. and M.Sc. by DST, Govt. of India for being within top 1% at Class XII level examination of the Uttarakhand Board.
