Mr. Mahakant Sharma
Mr. Mahakant Sharma is a proficient educator and researcher with a strong background in Computer Science and Engineering, particularly in the domains of Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering, specializing in Cyber Security, from Rashtriya Raksha University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. His M.Tech dissertation, titled "The Next World War and How It Will Rely on Cyber Attacks", explores the critical intersection of cybersecurity and modern warfare.
As an active researcher, Mr. Sharma has contributed to several prestigious publications, including IEEE conference proceedings and Scopus-ranked journals. His research interests span Cyber Security, Cyber Warfare, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Continual Machine Learning. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Information Technology from Rustam Ji Institute of Technology, BSF Academy, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
Mr. Sharma brings with him valuable teaching and industry experience. Prior to his current role at JUET Guna, he served as an Assistant Professor at the School of Engineering, Lovely Professional University (December 2022 – June 2023). He also held a position at the Department of Computer Engineering, RK University (August 2022 – April 2023). Additionally, Mr. Sharma worked as a representative for vivo Mobile India pvt ltd. from 2019 to 2020, gaining industry insights that complement his academic expertise.
Alongside his academic and professional work, Mr. Sharma has pursued a range of specialized certifications, including Cyber Security Specialist from IBM. He has also completed multidisciplinary training in Counter Insurgency and Counter Terrorism, Hybrid Warfare, Strategic Negotiations, and Cyber Psychology, highlighting his diverse skill set.
A passionate advocate for knowledge sharing, Mr. Sharma has participated in and organized various academic and industry events. Notably, he was a speaker at the Hack-O-Shop at VGU Jaipur and is an active member of ISC², a global association for information security professionals. Mr. Sharma has also been involved in coordinating industry visits and other educational initiatives, further enriching the learning experience for his students.
