Mr. Ravindra Kumar Goliya
Mr. Ravindra Kumar Goliya holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS), Indore, followed by a Master of Technology in Structural Dynamics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He is presently pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Concrete Technology, with research focused on advancing the performance, durability, and sustainability aspects of concrete as a construction material.
Prior to joining Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology (JUET), Guna (erstwhile JIET) in July 2008, Mr. Goliya acquired significant professional experience in the design of high-rise buildings and underground metro stations. This industrial exposure provided him with practical expertise in structural engineering and enriched his ability to integrate real-world challenges into his academic and research activities.
At JUET, Mr. Goliya has been actively engaged in teaching, research, and consultancy for more than a decade. His research contributions include the publication of several papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals and conference proceedings, reflecting his sustained interest in Earthquake Engineering, Underground Structures, and Concrete Technology. He has consistently endeavored to explore innovative and application-oriented approaches that enhance the resilience and efficiency of structural systems.
In the domain of student mentorship, he has guided numerous B.Tech. projects and successfully supervised two M.Tech. dissertations. Through this academic engagement, he has encouraged students to undertake research-driven inquiries and apply engineering concepts to practical and socially relevant problems. His role as a mentor has been instrumental in nurturing the research aptitude and professional competence of young engineers.
Mr. Goliya is also actively involved in consultancy assignments for industry, wherein he provides technical expertise and structural solutions. His consultancy work covers diverse aspects of civil and structural engineering, thereby fostering strong linkages between academia and industry. This dual engagement ensures that his teaching and research remain closely aligned with contemporary professional practices.
With his academic background, research contributions, and professional experience, Mr. Goliya has established himself as a dedicated academician and researcher.
