Mr. Sourabh Bhaskar

Mr. Sourabh Bhaskar is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology (JUET), Guna. He is pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at S. V. National Institute of Technology (NIT), Surat, where his research focuses on efficient and secure Ciphertext-Policy Attribute-Based Encryption (CP-ABE) mechanisms for access control in resource-constrained and Internet of Things (IoT) environments.

His research interests include Information Security and Privacy for IoT, Cryptography, Attribute-Based Encryption, Secure Key Management, Secure Communications, and Machine Learning-Driven Cryptographic Optimization. He has contributed research articles to SCIE- and Scopus-indexed journals published by Springer and Elsevier, and to international conferences indexed in Web of Science, Scopus, and IEEE Xplore.

Prior to joining JUET, Mr. Bhaskar served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology at Parul University, Vadodara (2018 - 2020). His academic background includes an M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Durgapur, and a B.E. in Computer Engineering from the Institute of Engineering & Technology, DAVV (IET-DAVV), Indore. He has qualified national-level examinations, such as GATE (multiple times) and UGC-NET in Computer Science.

Mr. Bhaskar's teaching interests span subjects related to Information Security, Cryptography, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Data Structures, and foundational theory courses in computer science. He actively participates in academic and research activities and has presented his work at national research platforms, including the Research & Industrial Conclave (RIC'25) at IIT Guwahati.
