Development and Innovation Centre (DIC)

The Development and Innovation Centre (DIC) is a vibrant Centre of Excellence dedicated to nurturing innovation, creativity, and technology-driven problem solving among students. It serves as a dynamic platform where ideas are transformed into prototypes and innovative solutions through hands-on learning, experimentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

DIC provides students with opportunities to explore and work on emerging technologies across three key domains: Robotics & IoT, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML), and Augmented, Virtual & Mixed Reality (AR/VR/MR). Students engage in real-world projects, research and development activities, technical competitions, hackathons, workshops, and innovation challenges under the guidance of faculty mentors.

By fostering a strong build–experiment–innovate culture, DIC encourages students to move beyond classroom learning, develop practical and industry-relevant skills, and create solutions addressing real-world challenges. The Centre also promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, entrepreneurship, research, and product development, empowering students to evolve from technology learners into innovators, creators, and future technology leaders.
